The flag of a country contains an isosceles triangle. (Recall that an isosceles triangle contains two angles with the same mea

sure.) If the measure of the third angle of the triangle is 25° more than three times nbsp the measure of either of the other two angles, find the measure of each angle of the triangle. (Recall that the sum of the measures of the angles of a triangle is 180°.)

31 degrees, 31 degrees, 118 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 :

Let x be the measure of 2 angles of the given isosceles triangle with same measure

Let y be the measure of  3rd angle

So we have x + x + y = 180

Step 2 :

Given that the measure of  3rd angle of  triangle is 25° more than three times the measure of either of the other two angles

So we have , y = 3 x + 25

Step 3:

Substituting for y in the first equation we have,

x + x + 3 x + 25 = 180

=> 5 x + 25 = 180

=> 5 x = 180-25 = 155

=> x = 155/5 = 31

Hence the 2 angles of the triangle are 31 degrees.

Step 4:

we have y = 3 x + 25

=> y = 3 * 31 + 25 = 118

Hence the 3rd angle of given triangle is 118 degrees

Answer:

The correct answer is option 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : ΔPQR, QM is altitude of the triangle

PM  = 8

MR = 18

To find = QM

Solution :

PR = 8 + 18  = 26

Let, PQ = x  , QR = y, QM = z

Applying Pythagoras Theorem in ΔPQR

PQ^2+QR^2=PR^2

x^2+y^2=(26)^2..[1]

Applying Pythagoras Theorem in ΔPQM

PM^2+QM^2=PQ^2

8^2+z^2=(x)^2..[2]

Applying Pythagoras Theorem in ΔQMR

MR^2+QM^2=QR^2

18^2+z^2=(y)^2..[3]

Putting values of x^2 and y^2 from [2] and [3 in [1].

8^2+z^2+18^2+z^2=(26)^2

2z^2=(26)^2-(8)^2-(18)^2

2z^2=288

z^2=144

z = ±12

z = 12 = QM ( ignoring negative value)

The length of QM is 12.

The formula to solve the area of a circle is 3.14 (pi) times the radius (1/2 of the circumference) so 3.14 x 8 = 25.12 so your answer is 25.1

determine the number of outcome and decide whether the event is simple or not.A computer is used to randomly select a number bet
ollegr [7]
Based on your answer where ask to determined the number of outcome and decide whether the event is simple or not.
-So in event A is 4000 and a sample space
-So event B is 500 its just a number of outcome
