How many grams of nitrogen gas are needed to produce 34 g of ammonia
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

28 grams

Explanation:

The equation for the reaction is

3H(2) + N(2) -> 2NH(3)

Then we have.

The molar mass, M of ammonia is 17 g/mol.

34 grams of ammonia, NH3 then would be

34 g / 17 g/mol

= 2 moles

2 moles of ammonia will be obtained from

(2 * 1) / 2

= 1 mole of nitrogen

The molar masses of nitrogen is 28 g/mol

2 moles of nitrogen corresponds to 1 * 28 = 28 grams.

several months after a forest is cut down, a nearby river becomes much muddier than ever before. Infer how the river changed
ryzh [129]
Well this is just my opinion but I think because all the plants were gone they cant stop mud from rolling into it. Also when it rains the trees wont suck up the water, that will make it over flow and release into the land or dirt on the outsides of it. Mixing those two gives mud and it can potentially flow back in the river in largeish masses causing the river to mix with the mud makinging it more muddy. Hope this helps :D
