Answer;

A- reproduction

Explanation;

-Reproduction is a biological process through which new individual organisms are produced from their parents. It is a fundamental feature of all living organisms; each individual organism exists as the result of reproduction.

-There are two types of sexual reproduction, namely; sexual and asexual reproduction. Unlike sexual reproduction, which requires genetic material from two parent organisms in order to create an offspring, asexual reproduction occurs when a single organism reproduces without the genetic input of another.

3. What is the difference between cotyledons in dicot seeds and the endosperm in monocot seeds?
cupoosta [38]

Explanation:

Monocots contain a single cotyledon in their seed and dicots contain two cotyledons. The nutrients in the endosperm of dicots is absorbed by the two cotyledons. Therefore, a tiny endosperm is found inside the dicot seed. However, the main difference between cotyledon and endosperm is in their function during seedling.

If a TRNA had a AGC anticodon it could attach a
Contact [7]

A transference RNA (tRNA) is an adapter molecule that decodes a codon messenger RNA (mRNA) during the synthesis of a polypeptide chain. These molecules (tRNAs) play a fundamental role during translation.

  • If a tRNA had an AGC anticodon it could attach a codon having the sequence UCG.

  • During translation, tRNAs act at specific sites in a ribosome to synthesize a polypeptide chain (i.e., a protein) from an mRNA sequence.

  • The anticodon of the tRNA binds by base complementary to a triplet of nucleotides or 'codon' in the messenger RNA (mRNA) during protein synthesis (i.e., translation).

  • According to the base complementarity rules, in RNA, Adenine always pairs with Uracile (Thymine in DNA), whereas Guanine always pairs with Cytosine.

Moths can be black or white. in highly polluted areas the tree bark of trees is dark, which allows the black moths to blend in.
Valentin [98]
The reason for the loss of color after the industrial revolution is that the light-colored moths were "selected against" by predators. These birds could only see the light ones against the newly dark, sooted background. Over time, these predators could no longer distinguish the dark ones from their natural dark, sooted background. Thus more light-colored moths stood out against the dark soot, and were eaten. And more dark-colored moths eluded the birds, survived to reproduce, passing on more of their dominant genes for dark color to their offspring. After several decades of hundreds of thousands of generations, most of the later generations were dark, due to selective advantage of camouflage to survive predation.
