An easy way for me to remember when to round is if the answer has a decimal point higher or lower than 0.5 . If a number has a decimal less than .5, round down (for example, if it was 2.3, it would be rounded to 2). If a number has a decimal .5 or higher, I round up (4.5 would be rounded to 5, 6.7 would be rounded to 7)
