The hundredths place is 2 places to the right of the decimal and occupied by the 7.  To round, look at the next place to the right (the thousandths place)... if it's 5 or higher, we round the hundredths place up to an 8.  If it's 4 or lower, we round down so the 7 remains unchanged.
