Answer:

If you want to find the percentages, you must use the equation:

P = ((total tries in where the event is true)/total tries)*100%

(if you only want the decimal form, you can not multiply it by 100% and you will get a number between 0 and 1)

ok, for placebo we have 30 + 8 = 38 tries.

the frequency where the player block the goal is: p1 = (30/38)*100% = 78.9%

the frequency in where the player don't block the goal is:

p2 = (8/38)*100% = 21%

For the luck potion we have a total of:

23 + 5 = 28 tries.

The frequency where the player did block the goal is:

p1 = (23/28)*100% = 82.1%

then the frequency where the player did not block the goal is:

p2 = (5/23)*100% = 17.9%

So we can see that, in percentage, the luck potion is more efficient.

What is the value of z?
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

3 (z = 35)

Step-by-step explanation:

(22 + 19) + 104 + z = 180° => triangle sum theorem

41 + 104 + z = 180

145 + z = 180

145 + z - 145 = 180 - 145

z = 35

3/10 as an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 100
viktelen [127]
30/100.

To get to this, you need to change the denominator to 100. 10 x 10 = 100 so whatever you do to the denominator, you do to the numerator. 3 x 10 = 30 so your answer would be 30/100.

PLEASE HELP ME WIT DIS
Lunna [17]

To make things easier, this solid can be divided in 3 parts:

- the first one is 2in long, 5in wide and 8in tall

- the second one is 2in long, 8in wide and 3in tall

- the third one is just like the first one, so 2in long, 5in wide and 8in tall

In order to find the volume of the solids, we need to multiply their dimensions:

1st: 2.5.8 = 80in^{3}

2nd: 2.8.3 = 48in^{3}\\

3rd: 2.5.8 = 80in^{3}

The volume of the big solid is equal to (80 + 48 + 80)in^{3}

V = 208in^{3}

Solve this system of equations using substitution, show your work (ANSWER QUICK PLEASE)
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

\boxed{\sf{y=-50 \quad x=3}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Isolate the term of x and y from one side of the equation.

<h3>y=-15x-5 and 11x+y=-17</h3>

First, you have to substitute.

\sf{y=-15x-5=11x-15x-5=-17}

Then, you solve.

\sf{-4x-5=-17}

Add by 5 from both sides.

-4x-5+5=-17+5

Solve.

-17+5=-12

-4x=-12

Divide by -4 from both sides.

-4x/-4=-12/-4

Solve.

-12/-4=3

<u>x=3</u>

y=-15*3-5

Solve.

PEMDAS stands for:

  • Parenthesis
  • Exponents
  • Multiply
  • Divide
  • Add
  • Subtract

15*3=45

Rewrite the problem down.

y=-45-5

Solve.

<u>y=-50</u>

<u>Therefore, the correct answer is y=-50 and x=3.</u>

I hope this helps you! Let me know if my answer is wrong or not.
