Answer :  The Lewis-dot structure of C_3H_4 is shown below.

The number of sigma and pi-bonds are 6 and 2 respectively.

Explanation :

Lewis-dot structure : It shows the bonding between the atoms of a molecule and it also shows the unpaired electrons present in the molecule.

In the Lewis-dot structure the valance electrons are shown by 'dot'.

The given molecule is, C_3H_4

As we know that carbon has '4' valence electrons and hydrogen has '1' valence electron.

Therefore, the total number of valence electrons in C_3H_4 = 3(4) + 4(1) = 16

According to Lewis-dot structure, there are 16 number of bonding electrons and 0 number of non-bonding electrons.

The number of sigma and pi-bonds are 6 and 2 respectively.

mickey reacts magnesium with 1.0 M of hydrochloric acid. the reaction tales 2 minutes and 34 seconds to complete. what are 2 way
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

Explanation:

To slow down this reaction, we can use any of the methods listed below:

  • Increase the size of the magnesium by using solid lumps of  the metal. This will take a much faster time to react than powered and granulated magnesium.
  • Reduce the concentration of the acid.
  • Let the reaction take place at a much lower temperature than that given.

These conditions will slow down a chemical reaction.

How is the Sun related to day and night and the change of seasons?
atroni [7]

Explanation:

As the Earth moves around the sun during a year, the northern half of the Earth is tilted towards the sun in the summer, making daytime longer than night. In winter, this reverses; the earth tilts away from the sun and nighttime becomes longer
