2km=2 kilometer
kilo=1000 so 2 km=2000m

25m

2500cm
cm=centimeter=1/100 of a meter
so
2500cm=25m

mm=milimeter=1/1000 meter
so
3000mm=3m

so the longets is obviously 2000m or 2km

So,

Let's state everything in terms of meters (m).

The conversion factor between km and m is as follows:
1 km = 1000 m
Therefore, 2 km is 2000 m.

The conversion factor between cm and m is as follows:
100 cm = 1 m
Therefore, 2500 cm is 25 m.

The conversion factor between mm and m is as follows:
1000 mm = 1 m
Therefore, 3000 mm is 3 m.

Here are all the numbers in meters.
2000 m, 25 m, 25 m, 3 m

We can quickly see that 2000 m is the longest distance. It is 2 km.

PLEASE HELP! I ONLY HAVE 15 MINS! WILL MARK BRAINLIEST! 20 POINTS! Suppose N coins lie heads up on a table. In one turn, you can
Romashka [77]

Answer: it is only possible if N = 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

if you have N heads up coins.

turn one, you turn N -1 coins up.

Now you have N - 1 coins tails up and one coin heads up.

Second turn, you turn N - 1 coins, (if you select the same N - 1 coins as before, you will end in the initial situation, so now we will change one coin, this time we will select the coin that is still heads up and we will leave one of the tails up unchanged)

Then we have N - 2 coins heads up and 2 coins tails up.

Now, we can select any N -1 coins to flip, and we will end with with N - 1 coins tail up and 1 coin heads up.

and this cycle will repeat.

Then the only situation is having N = 2.

Becuase when we have N -2 coins heads up and 2 coins tails up we will have: N - 2 = 0, so we have 0 coins heads up and 2 coins tails up.

This means that the statement is only true if N = 2.

Given a right triangle with sides a = 3 , b = 4, and c = 5. Find the missing side c of another right triangle with a = 6 and b =
horsena [70]

c = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

We can find out the missing side of a right triangle by using the Pythagorean theorem.

The Pythagorean theorem is...

a^2+b^2=c^2

We can even double check the first problem by plugging in everything into the theorem and solving, everything will come out correct. We can plug in the numbers from the second problem into the theorem and find c, also please note that the hypotenuse of a triangle will always be c. It doesn't matter which you put in for a or b, but since the problem gives us which one is a and which one is b, I'll just be plugging it in like that.

6^2+8^2=c^2

36+64=c^2

100=c^2

A lot of people will stop here and think that the answer is 100, but you need to find the square root of 100, since c is squared. The square root of 100 is 10, so...

c = 10

Each inhabitant of a remote village always tells the truth or always lies. A villager willgive only a ""Yes"" or ""No"" response
pshichka [43]

Step-by-step explanation:

This is actually a very old riddle, but it is two guards and two doors life death .

So let's apply the same logic to this one.

You only meet one villager and you don't know if he is one of the ones who only tells the truth or always lies, to answer this riddle, the question is actually to an hypothetical third party, another villager, not present, this is a little convoluted so bear with me:

(Pointing to one of the roads): If I asked another villager if this road would lead me to the ruins, would he be correct?

If the villager is a truth one, the true-villager, would tell you that the liar-villager would say no (thus leading you to the jungle).

 • Let's analyze this one, so the villager always tells the truth, and you happen to be pointing to the right direction (ruins), he is answering, that if you would ask another villager whether that is the correct road, that villager would say yes, since you are pointing at the right direction, a liar would tell you no, because the liar would point you to the other road as the correct (jungle), so the true-villager will say no
 • If you happen to be pointing to the wrong direction (jungle), he is answering, that if you would ask another villager whether that is the correct road, that villager would say yes, since you are pointing at the wrong direction, the truth-villager would tell you no, because the liar would point you to the wrong road as the correct (jungle), so the villager will say no

Therefore, no matter what villager you run into, the question will always lead you to the jungle, and therefore you pick the other road.

A prop for the theater club’s play is constructed as a cone topped with a half-sphere. What is the volume of the prop? Round you
marta [7]

Volume of cone formula: V = PI x r^2 x h/3

Volume of sphere formula: 4/3 x PI x r^3

Cone: 3.14 x 9^2 x 9/3 = 763.02 cubic inches

1/2 sphere: 1/2 x 4/3 x 3.14 x 9^3 = 1526.04 cubic inches.

Total volume : 1526.04 + 763.02 = 2289.1 cubic inches
