What is the relationship between energy frequency and wavelength?

Physics

Answer:

The energy E of a photon is given by:

E=h\nu (1)

Where:

h is the Planck constant

\nu is the frequency

On the other hand, there is an inverse relation between the frequency and the wavelength \lambda:

\nu=\frac{c}{\lambda} (2)

Where c is the speed of light, which is also a constant.

If we substitute (2) in (1) we will have the following:

E=h\frac{c}{\lambda} (3)

This means, there is direct relation between the energy and the frequency and there is an inverse relation between the energy and the wavelength.

Answer:

460 g

Explanation:

Heat lost by the warm water = heat gained by the cold water

-mCΔT = mCΔT

-m (4.184 J/g/K) (37°C − 85°C) = (1000 g) (4.184 J/g/K) (37°C − 15°C)

-m (37°C − 85°C) = (1000 g) (37°C − 15°C)

-m (-48°C) = (1000 g) (22°C)

m = 458 g

Rounded to two significant figures, you need a mass of 460 g of water.

It is strong elastic and light .it is lutrous and easy to wash. so it become very popular for making clothes
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

Nylon fibres

Explanation:

Nylon fibres are synthetic polymers made of repeating units linked by amide links. It is a thermoplastic silky material which can be remoulded in any shape.

Nylon fibres have the property of strong elastic and light in weight that is why used for making ropes,  combat uniforms, and parachutes. Nylon Fibres are also lustrous and easy to wash so widely used in textile industry for making swimwear, track pants, shorts, and draperies.

Hence, the correct answer is "Nylon fibres".

A motorcyclist accelerates from rest to 10 mi/hr. what is the change in velocity
gulaghasi [49]

The change in velocity is 10 mi/h (4.47 m/s)

Explanation:

The change in velocity of the motorcyclist is given by

\Delta v = v-u

where

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

In this problem, we have

u = 0 (the motorbike starts from rest)

v = 10 mi/h

Therefore, the change in velocity is

\Delta v = 10 -0 = 10 mi/h

And keeping in mind that

1 mile = 1609 m

1 h = 3600 s

We can convert it into m/s:

\Delta v = 10 \frac{mi}{h} \cdot \frac{1609 m/mi}{3600 s/h}=4.47 m/s
