Answer:

∠C = 45°   ∠D = 30°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the figure attached.

∠A = 45° and ∠E = 15°

We have to find the measures of ∠C and ∠D.

(A) Since ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

                45° + 90° + ∠C = 180°

               135 + ∠C = 180°

                        ∠C = 180 - 135 = 45°

(B) Now ∠C + ∠F = 180° ( supplementary angles )

             45 + ∠F = 180

                      ∠F = 180 - 45

                             = 135°

Since ∠D +∠E + ∠F = 180°

          ∠D + 15 + 135 = 180

                 ∠D + 150 = 180

                           ∠D = 180 - 150

                                 = 30°

Therefore, ∠C = 45°

                  ∠D = 30°

Answer:

Angle C = 45 degrees.

Angle D = 30 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle C = 45 + 90 = 135   180 - 135 = 45.

Angle D = 180 - 45 = 135 (angle F)   15 + 135 = 150   180 - 150 = 30

I need help, please and thank you
borishaifa [10]

Answer:

See below ↓

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Problem</u>

  • <u />\frac{5x}{x+7} + \frac{7}{x}

<u>Work</u>

  • <u />\frac{5x(x)+7(x+7)}{x(x+7)}
  • \frac{5x^{2} +7x+49}{x(x+7)}
  • The student's mistake was that instead of taking x(x + 7) as the LCM (Least Common Multiple), he took x + 7, which is not possible in this case

<u>Solution</u>

  • <u />\frac{5x^{2} +7x+49}{x(x+7)}

2. A line has an x-intercept of 2 and a y-intercept of 5. What is the slope<br> of the line?
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

-5/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Use slope formula:

Given 2 points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) Slope is

y2-y1/x2-x1

The x intercept is 2, the point would be (2,0)

The y intercept is 5, the point would be (0,5)

So you can do (5-0)/(0-2) which is 5/-2 which then would be -5/2

What is X squared +3x-70
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

x = 7, x = -10

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2+3x-70 = 0

Use the quadratic formula.

x = \frac{-3 + \sqrt{3^2-4(1)(-70)} }{2(1)} \\x = \frac{-3 - \sqrt{3^2-4(1)(-70)} }{2(1)} \\

Solve.

x = 7, x = -10

You can also factor if you want - that is a faster method.
