Legal hunting of animals is most likely for rabbits, deer, and a stabilized population in the wild. Habitat destruction can destroy many populations and cause loads of damage. An example of that would be the Australian wildfires at the start of 2020.

Hello Wtfiswrongwitmeh, using radiocarbon dating, or carbon dating, you can determine the age of an organic object from the relative proportions of the carbon isotopes it contains. Therefore, if you take the fossils form the fossil record and determine how old they are, you can see how/if they evolved over time.
