Answer:

He is incorrect because if you're going to find out how much he needs, you need to subtract the total by what he already has. So, the answer will be

145-25=b. (but if you want to know the answer to b, it's 145-25=120, so he needs to save up 120 more dollars.) Let me know if this helped!! Good luck.

Y = x – 6 x = –4 what is the solution to the system of equations? (–8, –4) (–4, –8) (–4, 4) (4, –4
fredd [130]

Answer:

(- 4, - 10 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

y = x - 6 → (1)

x = - 4 → (2)

Substitute x = - 4 into (1) for corresponding value of y

y = - 4 - 6 = - 10

Solution is (- 4, - 10 )

What means the same as 6 × 5?
A.6^5
B.5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5
C.6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 6
skelet666 [1.2K]

Here is your answer:

In order to find your answer we will have to solve each option separately to see which one equals 6 × 5.

  • 6^5 = 6\times6\times6\times6\times 6 <---- Not the answer
  • 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25 <----- Not the answer
  • 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 = 35 <---- Your answer

Therefore your answer is option C "6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 ."

Hope this helps!

A cheetah ran 230 feet in 1.932 seconds. What is the cheetah's speed in miles per hour?
Bumek [7]

Answer:

The answer to your question is speed = 81.5 mi/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

distance = 230 ft

time = 1.932 s

speed = ? mi/h

Process

1.- Convert the distance to mi

                1 mile ----------------- 5280 ft

                 x        ----------------- 230 ft

                 x = (230 x 1) / 5280

                 x = 0.044 mi

2.- Convert time to hours

                 1 h    ------------------ 3600 s

                  x      ------------------ 1.932 s

                        x = (1.932 x 1) / 3600

                        x = 0.00054 h

3.- Calculate the speed

speed = distance / time

-Substitution

speed = 0.044/ 0.00054

-Result

speed = 81.5 mi/h

Please answer this and show work
evablogger [386]
Ok so we know it took 4 hrs and 15 minutes, which is the same as 4.25 hrs so we divide 1114 by 4.25 which is 262.118. The average speed of the plane is 262 mph.

Then we just have to multiply 262 by 1.6 to get the speed in kph. That equals 419.2. That means the average speed was 419 kph. Hope that helps!
