Hello!

We first have to find the volume of the bigger cylinder

We use the equation \pi  r^{2} h

Put in the values you know

\pi 10.5^{2} *18

This is 6234.49

Now we find the volume of the cut out part

\pi  7.5^{2} 18

This is 3180.86

We subtract the two values

6234.49 - 3180.86 = 3053.63

The answer is 3053.6

Hope this helps!

Point P with coordinates (25,−13) is translated by the mapping statement (x,y) maps to (x−9,y+16). What are the coordinates for
BigorU [14]

The coordinates of image are: P'(16,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given point is :

P(25,-13)

The rule is:

(x−9,y+16)

Let P' be the image of P after applying the translation rule

So,

We have to subtract 9 from x- coordinate of P and add 16 to y coordinate of P

P(25,-13) => P'(25-9 , -13+16) => P'(16,3)

Hence,

The coordinates of image are: P'(16,3)

6. For every 12 burpees Melinda did, she did 20 squats.
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

48 burpees & 80 squats

Step-by-step explanation:

Let burpees= x

Let squat = y

For every 12 burpees Melinda did, she did 20 squats.

X/y =12/20

20x= 12y

X= 0.6y

Melinda did a total of 128 squats and burpees

X+y= 128

But x= 0.6y

0.6y +y= 128

1.6y= 128

Y= 128/1.6

Y= 80

X+y= 128

X+80= 128

X=128-80

X= 48
