3 0

Answer:

4 appears 55 times between 100 and 350

Step-by-step explanation:

First lets compute the number of times 4 appear from 100 to 200

104, 114, 124, 134, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 154, 164, 174, 184, 194

From 100 to 200: 4 appears 20 times ------- 1

Using the same method as above:

From 200 to 300: 4 appears 20 times ---------------2

From 300 to 350: 4 appears 15 times ---------------3

304, 314, 324, 334, 340, 341, 342, 343, 344 ( 2 times ), 345, 346, 347, 348, 349

From eq 1, 2 and 3

From 200 to 350: 4 appears : 20 + 20 + 15 = 55 times

X= 70 degrees
Y= 70 degrees

Understand that every triangle has three angles and they add up to 180 degrees.

If I split this triangle in half the total degrees of each individual piece will be 90 degrees. A split in the isosceles triangle will also cause the 40 degrees to halved (thus, how I got 20 degrees in our 90 triangle).

Since we are dealing with an isosceles triangles two of the sides will be equal (hence, the dashes on the triangles sides). Therefore, x and y will also be equal.

Now if our 40 degreed angle is now 20 degrees, we have an unknown angle and the triangle in total now adds up to 90 degrees we can set up an equation.

20 + y = 90

Y = 70

Since X and Y are equal, X will also be 70.

If we return to to the isosceles triangle before it was split (use your photo for reference) and we add 40 +70 + 70 we will get 180 degrees. Which is the standard total of degrees for any triangle that is not a 90 degreed triangle.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask questions.

The total temperature measured by 4 thermometers was −16 degrees Fahrenheit. What was the average temperature measured by the 4
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

0

Step-by-step explanation:

Well average means mean so we have to find the mean of the numbers in the data set. Our numbers are -12,12,-4, and finally 4. When we add all of them up we get 0 and we have to divide 0 by the 4 thermoters and your answer is 0. if this is confusing just leave a comment and ill try to explain better
