The conversion rate is 1cm to 4km, or 1:4.

Because we know the conversion rate, we can use this ratio to calculate the map distance.

If the distance between the two towns is 28km, then we can use the conversion rate to calculate the distance on the map.

28 / 4 = 7

Therefore, the distance between the two towns on a map is 7cm.

Please help 2х -3y =18
siniylev [52]

Answer:

x = 3(6 + y)/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Solving for x

Add 3y to both sides.

2x = 18 + 3y

Divide both sides by 2.

x = 18 + 3y/2

Factor out the common term 3.

x = 3(6 + y)/2

A new truck costs $32,000 if the truck is worth 24,500 after three years write an explicit formula for the value of the car afte
Debora [2.8K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

depreciation for three years = 32000 - 24500 = $ 7500

depreciation per year = 7500/3 = $ 2500

depreciation % = (2500/32000)*100 = 7.81%

Value of truck after n years = 32000 * (7.81%)*n

Anthony has 400 marbles. He sells 1/4 of the marbles to Jayveon, he gives 10% to Abdul and donates 10 marbles to his little brot
Georgia [21]

Answer: See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of marbles = 400

Anthony sells 1/4 of the marbles to Jayveon. This will be:

= 1/4 × 400

= 100 marbles

Anthony gives 10% to Abdul. Abdul will have:

= 10% × 400

= 0.1 × 400

= 40 marbles

He gave 10 marbles to his little brother.

The number of marbles that Anthony has left will be:

= 400 - (100 + 40 + 10)

= 400 - 150

= 250 marbles

HELP HELP !!!! PLEASE I NEED HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM !!!
Vesnalui [34]
This one is best done by elimination:

We need to start 4 meters away, so B is clearly wrong.

We first move towards Mr. Wilson (i.e. distance is decreasing) so A is wrong.

Our speed is faster on the way back, so the two sloped section must have differing slopes, so D is wrong.
(D also doesn't start at 4, it's wrong for two reasons.)

Only C is left.

We can check each part to make sure. First we start at 4m, then move away, then stay still (zero slope) for three seconds, then move back faster (higher slope). All parts check out ok.

NEED HELP ASAP PLEASS AND THANK YOU
Ghella [55]

Answer:

Using points ( 2 , - 4) and ( 0 , 2)

Slope = 2+4/0-2 = 6/-2 = - 3

Since the lines are parallel their slope will be the same

So the slope of the line parallel to the one in the picture is - 3

That's option A.

Hope this helps.
