-5/8 ; -0.025 ; 33/40 ; 18 ; 18.425
Negative will always be the least and since -5/8 is farther away from 0 it is the least. Then you put down -0.025 since it’s the only other negative available. Next you put 33/40 because it’s less then 1 and one is less then 18. Then you put 18 and lastly you put 18.425
When thinking of this just imagine it in money do I want to be in debt 63 cents or three cents or will I like to have 83 cents or 18 dollars or $18.23

Graph the data below and then answer the questions that follow. year 1=$20,000, year 2=$21,750, year 3=$23,500, year 4=$25,250,
Mariana [72]

Answer:

Since the difference between the value for each year is constant, this is an arithmetic sequence.

Step-by-step explanation:

Year 2 - Year 1 = 21,750 - 20,000 = 1,750

Year 3 - Year 2 = 23,500 - 21,750 = 1,750

Year 4 - Year 3 = Year 5 - Year 4 = 1,750

The density of people (number of people per mile) during the evening rush hour for the 5 mile stretch along a certain sidewalk i
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

a.  \int\limits^5_0 {f(x)} \, dx

Step-by-step explanation:

Since f(x) is the function for the populational density at a certain sidewalk for a 5 mile stretch, a definite integral of that function will yield the total number of people within the integration intervals. If we are interested in the number of people in the whole 5 mile stretch, we must integrate f(x) from x = 0 miles to x = 5 miles:

\int\limits^5_0 {f(x)} \, dx

Therefore, the answer is alternative a.

Which of the following is the most profitable investment for a candy shop that earns $1 revenue per pound of candy? (5 points) G
rewona [7]

Then the most profitable investment is the first machine (third option) because for each dollar, it produces 2 pounds of candy.

<h3>Which of the following is the most profitable investment?</h3>

The first option is a worker that costs $10 per hour and produces 8lb, then this worker gives:

8lb/$10= <em>0.8 pounds per dollar.</em>

The second worker costs $12 per hour, and produces 16lb per hour, so this worker gives:

16lb/$12 = <em>1.33 pounds per dollar.</em>

The third option is a machine that cost $5 per hour and produces 10lb per hour, then:

10lb/$5 = <em>2 pound per dollar.</em>

The last option costs $8 per hour, and produces 14 pounds per hour, then:

14lb/$8 = <em>1.75 pounds per dollar.</em>

Then the most profitable investment is the first machine (third option) because for each dollar, it produces 2 pounds of candy.
