Answer:

That protest was named the Salt March. Since the 19th century, Britain had kept a monopoly of the salt trade, prohibiting Indians to produce and trade with it and forcing Indians to buy it a high price from British merchants. It affected everybody, rich and poor , Hindu and Muslim alike.Though many of his collaborators did not see the sense of a protest related to the salt business, Mahatma Gandhi saw the salt trade as an example of how everyday life for Indians could be so oppresive because of British colonial interests. On March 12, 1930, Gandhi and his supporters started their march from Ahmedabad to Dandi in the Arabian Sea.

Question 23
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

Answer is Option C: If the United States entered the war, Germany would enter into a military alliance with Mexico.

Explanation:

The "Zimmermann Telegram" was a like a text communication that was issued from the Germany (Foreign Secretary) to Mexico which suggested a military alliance between Germany and Mexico, in case United States enters the World War I. It also agreed that Germany would give considerable financial support to Mexico in case it agrees to be a German ally.

This was intercepted from by US. Other Options which say that Germany would target US coaling stations or US ambassador would be arrested are incorrect. Even the statement about German U boats is incorrect. As this was not intercepted from Zimmermann Telegram.
