First we have to establish the chemical reaction. As a result of adding N<span>a2CO3 and AgNO3 products formed are NaNO3 and Ag2CO3. NaNO3 is a soluble substance when dissolved in water.
As a general rule, most Ag, Pb and Hg(I) compounds are considered insoluble. Ag2CO3 is insoluble in water hence the reaction given forms a precipitate. </span>

Yes it is true that a precipitate will form via the chemical reaction given in the question. The products that will be formed via the chemical reaction of Na2CO3 and AgNO3 are Ag2CO3 and NaNO3. The product Ag2CO3 is insoluble in water and hence will form a precipitate, while NaNO3 is soluble in water.

Which represents the ionization of a strong electrolyte?
olga55 [171]
The answer is K3PO4(s) → 3K+(aq) + PO43–(aq) since water-soluble ionic tripotassium phosphate dissociates completely into K+ and PO43– ions when dissolved, that is, no K3PO4 remains in the solution. Carbonic acid H2CO3 and acetic acid CH3COOH are weak electrolytes since they are weak acids that do not completely ionize, while nonelectrolyte CH3OH do not dissociate into ions.

2 NaOH + H2SO4 → 2 H2O + Na2SO4<br> How many grams of water are produced from 203.50 grams of H2S04?
ddd [48]

Answer:

m_{H_2O}=74.8gH_2O

Explanation:

Hello there!

In this case, according to the given chemical reaction, it is possible to realize there is a 1:2 mole ratio of sulfuric acid to water; thus, given the mass of the former and its molar mass (98.07 g/mol), it is possible to determine the mass of produced water as shown below:

m_{H_2O}=203.50gH_2SO_4*\frac{1molH_2SO_4}{98.07gH_2SO_4}*\frac{2molH_2O}{1molH_2SO_4} *\frac{18.02gH_2O}{1molH_2O}\\\\m_{H_2O}=74.8gH_2O

Regards!

Calculate the number of atoms of copper represented by 127.08 g of copper.
frosja888 [35]
The molar mass of copper is 63.55 g/mol. So, you convert grams to moles 127.08/63.55 =1.999 moles copper. Now, 1 mole = 6.022e23 atoms, so multiply # of moles by 6.022e23. 1.999 x 6.022e23= # of atoms of copper.
