A = pi * r^2

radius 14 ft
A = 3.14 * 14^2
A = 3.14 * 196
A = 615.44...rounds to 615

radius 10 ft
A = 3.14 * 10^2
A = 3.14 * 100
A = 314

difference is : 615 - 314 = 301...I guess it is C...because of the rounding

At what value of x does the graph of the following function F(x) have a
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = \frac{1}{x+2}

The denominator cannot be zero as this would make f(x) undefined.

Equating the denominator to zero and solving gives the value that x cannot be and if the numerator is non zero for this value then it is a vertical asymptote.

x + 2 = 0 ⇒ x = - 2

The equation of the vertical asymptote is x = - 2

malfutka [58]
Well, bearing in mind that, a year has 12 months, so 18 months is really just 18/12 of a year, or 3/2 a year, then

\bf \qquad \textit{Simple Interest Earned Amount}\\\\
A=P(1+rt)\qquad
\begin{cases}
A=\textit{accumulated amount}\\
P=\textit{original amount deposited}\to& \$900\\
r=rate\to 4\%\to \frac{4}{100}\to &0.04\\
t=years\to \frac{18}{12}\to &\frac{3}{2}
\end{cases}
\\\\\\
A=900\left( 1+0.04\cdot \frac{3}{2} \right)

yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

65

Step-by-step explanation:

let's place 9 in place of p and 4 in place of q. I will use a star in place of that symbol for the sake of my convenience having to look for it, apologies.

9 \star 4  = 9^2-4^2 = 81-16 = 65
