Suppose you receive $100 for a graduation present, and you deposit it in a savings account. then each week thereafter, you add $

5 to the account but no interest is earned. The amount in the account is a function of the number of weeks that have passed. Use your equation to find when you will have $310 in the account.

You will have $310 in your account after 42 weeks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Graduation present = $100

Amount deposited per week = $5

Let, x be the number of weeks, therefore, the function is

f(x) = 100+5x   Eqn 1

We will put f(x)=310 in Eqn 1 to find number of weeks.

310=100+5x\\310-100=5x\\210=5x\\5x=210\\

Dividing both sides by 5

\frac{5x}{5}=\frac{210}{5}\\x=42

You will have $310 in your account after 42 weeks.

Can anyone help me in this whole math question? Especially Number b and c. <br>Thanks.
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

Irregular polygons are polygons that do not have equal sides or equal angles. When finding the area of an irregular polygon, partition the polygon into smaller regular polygon shapes. You can then plug those measurements into their respective area formulas and multiply to find the area of one part of the shape.

This is 16cm.

The equation for the line g can be written as x-y=9. Line h is parallel to line g and passes through (4,5). What is the equation
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

y = x+1

Step-by-step explanation

The equation in slope intercept form is expressed as y = MX+c

m a the slope

Get the slope of the line

Given the line x-y =9

-y = -x+9

y = x-9

Slope of the line is 1

Since it is parallel to the given line, the slope o the required line is also 1

Substitute m = 1 adnd (4,5) into the point slope form

y-y0 =m(x-x0)

y - 5 = 1(x-4)

y-5 = x-4

y= x-4+5

y = x+1

Hence the required equation is y = x+1

Determine the value(s) for which the rational expression 2x^2/6x is undefined. If there's more than one value, list them separat
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

0

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello, dividing by 0 is not defined. so

\dfrac{2x^2}{6x}

is defined for x different from 0

This being said, we can simplify by 2x

\dfrac{2x^2}{6x}=\dfrac{2x*x}{3*2x}=\dfrac{1}{3}x

and this last expression is defined for any real number x.

Thank you
