Volume of cube = 1/3 * pi * r^2 * h
83.74 = 1/3 x 3.14 x r^2 x 5 = 5.233r^2
r^2 = 83.74/5.233 = 16
r = sqrt(16) = 4

Therefore, d = 2(4) = 8 inches.

To fill out a sign chart, you will need to use test numbers before and after each of the function's zeros and ___
Vikki [24]

Answer:

C. asymptotes

Step-by-step explanation:

In the figure attached, a sign chart is shown. To fill it out you need to find the function's zeros and asymptotes. The zeros are those x values that makes the function equal to zero, in the example, those are the x values that make the denominator equal to zero (x = -1 and x = 5). In a rational function, the asymptotes are those x values that make the numerator equal to zero (x = -9 in the example)

Function in the example:

\frac{(-2x-2)(2x-10)}{-9x-81}

A rectangle has a width, w, equal to 6 less than the length, l. Which expressions represent ways to find the perimeter of the re
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

4L-12

Step-by-step explanation:

let's assume the length = L

then the width of the rectangle is L - 6

perimeter = 2× (a+b)

where "a" and "b" are the length and the width of the rectangle.

so perimeter = 2× (L + L - 6)

2 × ( 2L - 6)

4L - 12

Can someone help me with these two
LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

The first equation answer is 10

And the second one 6

Step-by-step explanation:

The first equation

2/5 x +3= 2/3x +1/3

2x + 15/5 = 6x+3/9 the cress cross

9(2x + 15) = 5(6x + 3)

18x + 135 = 30x +15

135-15 = 30x - 18x

120 = 12x

120/12 =12x/12

10 = x

X =10

The second one

-2.6b +4 =0.9b - 17

-2.6b - 0.9b = - 17 - 4

-2.6b + (-0.9b) = - 17 + (-4)

-3.5b = - 21

-3.5b/-3.5 = - 21 /-3.5

B= 6

What is the general term equation, an, for the arithmetic sequence 5, 1, −3, −7, . . . , and what is the 21st term of this seque
Sonja [21]
The general term is obtained by starting with the initial value 5 and then subtracting 4 each time you wish to generate a new term:

a2 = second term = 5+(2-1)(-4)       =    5+(-4) = 1

General term:

an = nth term = 5+(n-1)(-4)

Thus, the 21st term is 5+(21-1)(-4) = 5 + (20)(-4) = -75 (answer)
