Answer:

21.6

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for expressions with variables, substitute the variable's value is where the variable is in the expression.

The variable is y, and y's value is 0.3

Substitute y for 0.3

8(y+2.4)

= 8(0.3+2.4)

Now solve by following BEDMAS (brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction).

= 8(0.3+2.4)      <=Solve the brackets by adding

= 8(2.7)    <= multiply

= 21.6

PLSS HELPP

Probability statistics
Lisa [10]

So okay, in stats when there is probability that looks like p(fem/type b) it means what is the probability that they are female given they are type b, so it would be where they intersect. Therefore where they intersect on the table is 22 out of the total of 200 people so 1/10. Now that we know that probability let's look at the "or" one, when it says or it means it could be a female or a type b so we would include both totals of each:

97 females+70 type b= 167

now we divide that by the total amount of people so it simplifies down to a probability of 0.835.

Finally, looking at these 2 probability we can see that the "or" probability is far greater than the one previous discussed so it would be the last option if I remeber correctly!!

kolbaska11 [484]
Selections B and D both appear to be appropriate.
  B) (x+8)² + (y+5)² = 13
  D) (x+8)² + (y+5)² = 13

_____
The center is at the midpoint of the diameter, ((-10-6)/2, (-8-2)/2) = (-8, -5). For center (h, k) and radius r, the equation is
  (x -h)² +(y -k)² = r²
  (x -(-8))² +(y -(-5))² = (√13)²
  (x+8)² + (y+5)² = 13

Math grades assignment unit test part 2 adding and subtracting rational numbers?
Katena32 [7]

Answer: When we add or subtract rational numbers that have the same denominator, we add or subtract only the numerators. The denominators stay the same. When we add or subtract rational numbers with unlike denominators, we need to change the rational numbers to equivalent rational numbers that have the same denominators, before we find the sum or difference.
