Answer:

equation :water remaining in pool after 30 mins= 0.027X

answer = 67.5 Gallon

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

quantity of water in pool = 2500 gallon

percentage of water lost every 10 mins = 70%

therefore percentage of water remaining in pool = (100- 70)% = 30%

Let the quantity of water in pool be X gallon

% of water remaining in gallon after 10 mins = 30% of X = 0.3X

% of water  remaining in gallon after another 10 mins = 30% of water at 10 mins = 30% of 0.3 X = 0.3 * 0.3X = 0.09 X

% of water  remaining in gallon after another 30 mins = 30% of water present at 20 minutes = 30% of 0.09 X = 0.3 * 0.09X = 0.027X

Therefore equation of water remaining after 30 mins is = 0.027 X

Substituting value of initial quantity of water in the above equation we get the volume pf water remaining in pool after 30 mins = 0.027 * 2500

                                                                                       = 67.5 gallons

What is the value of x?
Mariana [72]
The value of X is 39 degrees. You have to add 102 degrees and 39 degrees to get 141 degrees. All triangles equal up to 180, so subtract 141 from 180, and you get 39 degrees.

If the manufacturer gains 6 %, the wholesale dealer 8% and the retailer 10 %. Then what
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

The production cost is Rs 12,500

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the production cost be $x

At any point in time

sales price = cost price +( profit percentage* cost price)

Manufacturer gaining 6%

That would be;

x + 6% of x

x + 0.06x

= 1.06x

Wholesaler gaining 8%

= 1.06x + 8% of 1.06x

1.06x + 0.08(1.06x)

= 1.06x + 0.0848x

= 1.1448x

The for the retailer

= 1.1448x + 10% of 1.1448x

= 1.1448x + 0.11448x

= 1.25928x

1.25928x = 15,741

x = 15,741/1.25928

x = 12,500
