21.25:25=0.85$ highest price
36:50=0.72 $ lowest price
80:100=0.8

0.85-0.72=0.13 - difference

Answer: Our required answer is $0.13.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

25 items purchased @ $21.25

So its unit price is given by

\frac{21.25}{25}=0.85

50 items purchased @ 36.00

So, its unit price is given by

\frac{36}{50}=0.72

80 items purchased @ 60.00

So, its unit price is given by

\frac{60}{80}=0.75

So, Highest unit price for the whistles will be $0.85

Lowest unit price for the whistles will be $ 0.72

Difference between the highest unit price and lowest unit price for whistles will be

0.85-0.72=\$0.13

Hence, our required answer is $0.13.

Number 2 to 4 I don’t understand it.

All estimating problems make the assumption you are familar with your math facts, addition and multiplication. Since students normally memorize multiplication facts for single-digit numbers, any problem that can be simplified to single-digit numbers is easily worked.

2. You are asked to estimate 47.99 times 0.6. The problem statement suggests you do this by multiplying 50 times 0.6. That product is the same as 5 × 6, which is a math fact you have memorized. You know this because
.. 50 × 0.6 = (5 × 10) × (6 × 1/10)
.. = (5 × 6) × (10 ×1/10) . . . . . . . . . . . by the associative property of multiplication
.. = 30 × 1
.. = 30

3. You have not provided any clue as to the procedure reviewed in the lesson. Using a calculator,
.. 47.99 × 0.6 = 28.79 . . . . . . rounded to cents

4. You have to decide if knowing the price is near $30 is sufficient information, or whether you need to know it is precisely $28.79. In my opinion, knowing it is near $30 is good enough, unless I'm having to count pennies for any of several possible reasons.

we know angle RLP= 100⁰

also

angle RLP+ angle RLB=180⁰(Linear pair)

=>100⁰+angleRLB= 180⁰

=> angle RLB=80⁰

since BR and LR are equal, angle RBL and angle RLB are equal

therefore angle RBL is also equal to 80⁰

using angle sum property of triangles we know that the sum of all angles in a triangle is equal to 180⁰

=>angle BRL+angle RBL+angle RLB= 180⁰

=> angle BRL+80⁰+80⁰=180⁰

=>angle BRL = 180⁰-160⁰

=>angle BRL= 20⁰

An equation of a parabola with its vertex at (-3,2) and focus at (-3,-1) written in general equation form
german
<span> we have that
standard form of equation for parabola:
 (x-h)^2=-4p(y-k)
(h,k) --------->being the (x,y) coordinates of the vertex.
Parabola opens downwards because focus is below vertex on the axis of symmetry.
For given problem:
</span><span>vertex: (-3,2)
axis of symmetry: x=-3
p=distance from vertex to focus on the axis of symmetry=2-(-1)=3
4p=12
Directrix: y=2+p=5
Equation:
(x+3)^2=-12(y-2)

the answer is </span>(x+3)^2=-12(y-2)
