The height of each soup can is 4.138 centimeters, if the the volume of soup to be 325 cubic centimeters per can and the area of the base of each can is 25 square centimeters.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given is,

                  The volume of soup to be 325 cubic centimeters per can.

                  The area of the base of each can is 25 square centimeters.

Step: 1

                 Formula to calculate the volume of cylidrical soup can,

                                     Volume, V = Bh............................(1)

               Where, B - Base area of cylidrical soup can

                            h - Height of cylindrical soup can

Step: 2

            From the given values,

            Base area, B = 25 square centimeters

                Volume, V = 325 cubic centimeters

            Equation (1) becomes,

                          325 = ( 25 ) (h)

                               h = \frac{325}{25}

                                  = 13 centimeters

           Height of cylindrical soup can, h = 13 centimeters

Result:

            The height of each soup can is 4.138 centimeters, if the the volume of soup to be 325 cubic centimeters per can and the area of the base of each can is 25 square centimeters.

Keesha has 10 more quarters than dimes, which, together, total $11.25. How many coins does she have in quarters and dimes?
Rom4ik [11]

Assume Keesha has d dimes, so she has d + 10 quarters

Total money Keesha has is (d+10)*.25 + d*.1 = 11.25

or 0.35d + 2.5 = 11.25

Solving for d , d = 25

So Keesha has 25 dimes and 35 quarters, total of 60 coins
