Answer:

(a) Metropolitan Area Network

Explanation:

The PAN (Personal Area Network), LAN (Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) and WAN(Wide Area Network), among others, are types of computer area networks.

In the LAN, networking devices are all located in a small geographical area (a few kilometers). This can be used in schools, offices and hospitals. LANs are usually owned by individuals. Networking devices in a LAN are usually connected via twisted pair and/or coaxial cables. They are very easy to set up. Data transmission is very fast in a LAN.

In the MAN, networking devices are all located in a geographical area usually bigger than the one in LAN. The area can span a campus or even a city. MANs are a bit difficult to set up compared to LANs and may not be owned by individuals. Data transmission is also fast in a MAN but not as fast as that of LAN.

In the WAN, networking devices are all located in a large geographical area usually across cities of a country. WANs are very difficult to set up compared to LANs and MANs. A WAN could be a combination of one or more LANs or MANs. Data transmission in slow in WANs.

In the PAN, a device is able to communicate to another device that is usually close to it. It could be wired(via USB) or wireless (via bluetooth). Devices in a PAN are usually very close to one another (only a few meters apart).

Software, unless you planned on permanently downloading the Music Album or Song to your computer's Hard Drive. i.e, you would use whatever Music or Media player you have installed on your computer, and that simply counts as Software.

The advent of mobile systems run by Android and other operating systems opens a wide range of new system management and security
sergeinik [125]

Answer:

bring your own devices

Explanation:

"bring your own devices" paradigm is getting popular since organizations are increasingly allowing users to perform work tasks on their own personal devices, It is preferred because of the benefits and ease for the user. On the other hand, this paradigm opens several security risks.

For example processing sensitive data on personal devices creates risks in case of data recovery or if the device is stolen or lost.

Additionally, control and monitoring of organizational data is harder when users allowed to work on their personal devices. Thus data leakage and public exposure can happen more easily.

Which of the following solutions should an administrator use to reduce the risk from an unknown vulnerability in a third-party s
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer:

A. Sandboxing

Explanation:

The best solution to apply for this task would be Sandboxing. This is a software management strategy that isolates applications from critical system resources and other programs. In doing so you effectively add a secondary security layer on top of the application in order to prevent any and all malware from entering and damaging your overall system. Thus effectively reducing the risk.
