Answer:

15°

Step-by-step explanation:

∠ABC and ∠DBC form a straight angle and are supplementary, thus

∠ABC + 30 = 180 ( subtract 30 from both sides )

∠ABC = 150°

Since AB = BC then ΔABC is isosceles with ∠BAC = ∠BCA

The sum of the 3 angles in the triangle = 180°

Hence ∠BAC = \frac{180-150}{2} = \frac{30}{2} = 15

That is ∠a = 15°

Write the parent function in the standard form I.e.

\boxed{ \tt \:y =a(x - h) \times 2 + k  }

Where,

  • a = 1
  • h = 0
  • k = 0

\sf \longrightarrow \:y=  1(x - 0)^{2} \times 2 + 0

\sf \longrightarrow \: y = (x - 0) ^{2}  \times 2 + 0

\sf \longrightarrow \: y =  {x}^{2}  \times 2

\sf \longrightarrow \: y =  2{x}^{2}

∠WXY and ∠ZXY are adjacent angles. What equation must always be TRUE? m∠WXY=m∠ZXY
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

m∠WXY+m∠ZXY=m∠WXZ

Step-by-step explanation:

You don't know the angles to be congruent (equal measures), complementary (measures add to 90 deg), or supplementary (measures add to 180 deg); all you know is that they are adjacent, so the sum of the measures of the two smaller angles equals the measure of the larger outer angle.

Answer: m∠WXY+m∠ZXY=m∠WXZ
