Sort the characteristics of Athenian and Spartan government into their correct categories

Sparta

Two kings led during wartime.

The council held the most power.

Athens

The government was a direct democracy.

All citizens could debate any issue.

Less than 10 percent of residents were citizens.

We are talking about the two most important city-states in ancient Greece. Sparta was a place where they developed fierce warriors since childhood. Girls were trained to be good moms and raise children. Boys were trained to be tough warriors. Sparta had a council of elderly men, more than 60 years old, that were the ones who had more power and made the toughest decisions.

Athens was a more creative place where arts, poetry, and philosophy were of the utmost importance for Athenians. They had a political system of direct democracy where only men were considered citizens and could vote an occupy political offices.
