Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

x = 31

Discussion:

angle A + angle C + angle B = 180              (180 degrees in a triangle)

angle A + 57           +  61        = 180 =>         (substitution)

angle A + 118 = 180 =>

angle A = 180 -118 = 62

By the congruence statement, angle A = angle D = 2x so

62 = 2x =>

x = 31

Thank you,

MrB

See the pic for the answer.  You just multiply each term on the left by each term on the top.  The coefficient is just the number in front of an unknown.

I don't understand this problem plis help
kupik [55]

Answer:

B. 6(7+15)

Step-by-step explanation:

This problem is asking you to find which expression is equal to 42+90,

To do this, using 6(7+15), you multiply 6 by both the 7 and 15. So 6(7) + 6(15). Now you get 42+90. You can check each expression by doing this method to see if they equal 42+90.

Which graph represents the function of f(x) = the quantity of 4 x squared minus 16, all over 2 x minus 4?
mestny [16]

Answer:

We are given with a function , f(x)=\frac{4x^2-16}{2x-4}

To find graph for the f(x).

First we simplify the given function.

Consider,

f(x)=\frac{4x^2-16}{2x-4}

f(x)=\frac{(2x)^2-4^2}{2x-4}

using identity, a² - b² = ( a - b )( a + b )

f(x)=\frac{(2x-4)(2x+4)}{2x-4}

f(x) = 2x + 4

Obtained function represent a straight line whose slope is 2 and y-intercept is 4

Let say, y = 2x + 4

then when x = 0 we get, y = 4

when y = 0 we get, x = -2

So we get a graph of function that is a line passing through ( 0 , 4 )  and

( -2 , 0 )
