Answer:

The kinetic energy of the object increases

Explanation:

The kinetic energy of an object is given by:

K=\frac{1}{2}mv^2

where

m is the mass of the object

v is its speed

We see that the kinetic energy is proportional to the mass and to the square of the speed. In this problem, the speed stays the same, while the mass increases: since K is directly proportional to the mass, this means that the kinetic energy of the object increases as well.

That scenario is completely impossible. If it happened, the object"s kinetic energy would increase. The whole thing would require mass materializing out of nothing, and energy being created.

Power P is the rate at which energy is generated or consumed and hence is measured in units that represent energy E per unit time t. This is:

P = E/t

Solving for t:

t = E/P

t = 6007 J / 500 W

t = 12.014 s

<h2>t ≅ 12 s</h2>

please write the definition of instantaneous speed, velocity and acceleration and solve problems on them please show workings
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

instantaneous speed: The instantaneous speed is the speed of an object at a particular moment in time. And if you include the direction with that speed, you get the instantaneous velocity. In other words, eight meters per second to the right was the instantaneously velocity of this person at that particular moment in time.

velocity: the speed of something in a given direction.

acceleration: a vehicle's capacity to gain speed within a short time.

solve problems: Problem solving consists of using generic or ad hoc methods in an orderly manner to find solutions to problems.

The electric potential in a particular region of space varies only as a function of y-position and is given by the function V(y)
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

E = 55.9583\ Volts/meter

Explanation:

First let's find the electric potential using y = 22.5:

V(y) = 1.69y^2 +15.6y+52.5

V(22.5) = 1.69(22.5)^2 + 15.6*22.5 + 52.5

V(22.5) = 1259.0625\ Volts

Then, to find the magnitude of the electric field, we just need to divide the electric potential by the distance y:

E = V/d

E = 1259.0625/22.5

E = 55.9583\ Volts/meter
