The following choices are given;

A.Her title is accurate because two opposite extremes are favored.

B.Her title is accurate because one extreme is favored.

C.She should change her title because she is observing stabilizing selection.

D.She should change her title because selection cannot be observed.

The answer is; C

Since the whole population does not shift towards the extreme trait (which in this case is insect-eating) then the section is not directional. Rather, the selection is stabilizing because the selection does not favor a particular extreme trait but tend to shift the who population towards the mean (eating insects and berries).
