1.00 x 1000 => 1000 mL

D = m / V

13.6 = m / 1000

m = 13.6 x 1000

m = 13600 g

hope this helps!

Identify the limiting reactant when 7.81 g of HCl reacts with 5.24 g of NaOH to produce NaCl and H2O
elena55 [62]

Answer:

NaOH is limiting

Explanation:

                                 Hcl   +    NaOH   ------------      Nacl   + H2O

Given                     7.81g        5.24g

mol weights           1+35.5     23+16+1

                                 36.5            40

No of Moles        7.81/36.5       5.24/40

                             0.2139              0.131

No of moles = weight/ molecular weight

No of moles of NaOH is  lower so it is limiting as according to equation one mole of Hcl requires mole of NaOH so equal number of moles are required. NaOH is 0.131 which is far lower than 0.2139

Which halogen is the most easily oxidized?
Tanya [424]
The Halogen that is most likely easy to be oxidised would be the Iodine. In addition, the property that makes the Iodine ideal for oxidation is due to the fact that its d-orbital contains more electrons compared to other halogens such as fluorine where oxidation would tend to be difficult to occur on the element.

The terms dilute and concentrated referred to the ____ of a solution
valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

The correct answer is A) Concentration. See the explanation below, please.

Explanation:

We refer to concentration on the ratio between solute and solvent of a chemical solution. In the case of a more dilute solution, there is a higher proportion of solvent than solute and the opposite occurs in a concentrate.
