Because there are no angle measures to indicate whether a triangle is obtuse, acute, or right, yo find out, you must use the Pythagorean Theorem or
a^2+b^2=c^2 where a and b are the lengths of the shorter legs and c is the measure of the hypotenuse (or the slant).

To do this, plug in the values and if a^2+b^2 is greater than c^2, the triangle is acute. If a^2+b^2 is less than c^2, the triangle is obtuse. If a^2+b^2 is equal to c^2, then your triangle is a right triangle.

When you plug in your values you should get this:
6^2+\sqrt{133}^2=16^2

When you simplify, you should result in
36+133=256 which then simplifies to 169=256

Because 169 is less than 256 (the hypotenuse), you can conclude that this triangle is obtuse.

Describe the error then simplify the expression correctly.

-5(3+6)=-15+30
=15
Rama09 [41]

Answer: 30 should be negative

Step-by-step explanation:

when having an equation like that, you must multiply -5 by 3, which equals to -15, then multiply-5 by 6 which then equals to -30. The correct equation should be -5(3+6)= -15+-30= -45

I think this should be correct, hope this helps!

geniusboy [140]

Answer:

1) 10^9

2) 10^0

3) 10^3

Step-by-step explanation:

1) You divide 10^12 and 10^7 = 10^5

10^4 × 10^5 = 10^9

2) You divide 10^3 and 10^3 = 10^0

10^0 × 10^4 = 10^0

3) You multiply 10^4 × 10^3 × 10^6 = 10^13. Then you divide 10^13 and 10^10 = 10^3
