Hey there! Hello!
So, for this problem, I don't really see an answer choice that fits along with this description?? The last one is the closest to the answer I believe it is, but still doesn't fit exactly:
Twice a number = 2n
Three more than = +3
Final equation = 2n+3
Perhaps you have a typo either in your question or your answer problem, or I'm just way too tired. Either way, I hope this helped you out, and feel free to ask me any additional questions you may have.

Jamie's age is n. (given)
Brian's age is 2n. (given)
Half of Brian and Jamie's present age is (n +2n)/2 = 3n/2.
Let m represent Morgan's age now. Then
... m + 8 = 2 + 3n/2 . . . . . in 8 years, Morgan's age will be 2 more than ...
Subtract 8 to find Morgan's present age:
... m = 3n/2 - 6 . . . . Morgan's present age
They would meet after 4 hours, as 65 x 4 = 260. And 60 x 4 = 240. If you add these, they become a value of 500. This also answers the 2nd question ; 65x + 60x = 500.
