Since rate * time = distance, and you are trying to find the time, you need to rearrange the formula. Change it so time is on one side by itself, that'll be the easiest way to do it. The formula will now be distance / rate = time. So, divide distance/rate, which is 76/16, and you will get 4.75. That means that it'll take 4 3/4 or 4.75 hours to finish the bike ride. Hope I helped, could I get brainliest :)

Hi ! please help !
tatuchka [14]

Hey there! I was looking at your question for a bit then realized you meant i, the imaginary number, not "1" at the end of each number.

  • Complex numbers are numbers involving both real and imaginary numbers; thus, this question wouldn't make much sense without the imaginary number i

The expression we are given is:

(3+4i)+(8+2i)

Open parenthesis and combine like terms:

=3+4i+8+2i

=11+6i

This is answer choice B (assuming it's supposed to be an i and not a "1" at the end)

Let me know if you need any clarifications, thanks!

Evaluate 32 + 12 = ( 6 – 3) x 8.
Brrunno [24]

Hello there!

(Equation #1) 32 + 12 = 44

(Equation #2) 6 - 3 = 3, 3 x 8 = 24

These both equations don't have the same answer, even though it says that they are equal with each other, if you could correct these these 2 equations I am willing to answer again.

Hope this helped!!

Find the missing dimension of the cylinder. round your answer to the nearest whole number
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

11 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the formula:

V = \pi r^{2} h

V = 7599, h = 20, π = 3.14

Plugin the numbers and solve for r

7599=3.14(20)r^{2} \\7599=62.8r^{2} \\7599/62.5=62.8r^{2} /62.8\\121=r^{2} \\\sqrt{121}=\sqrt{r^{2} } \\r=11

Y=x(x−2)^3 identify the zeros and their multiplicities.
lawyer [7]
  • The zeros of the function are 0 and 2
  • The multiplicity is the power to which the factors are raised. The multiplicities of the function are 1 and 3.

<h3>Zeros and multiplicities of functions</h3>

Given the function y=x(x-2)^3

The zeros of the function is at the point where y = 0

x(x-2)^3 =0\\x = 0\\(x-2)^3=0\\x-2=0\\x=2

Hence the zeros of the function are 0 and 2

The multiplicity is the power to which the factors are raised. The multiplicities of the function are 1 and 3.
