Assume the role of one noted Personality Theorist Carl Rogers. Carl (you) is going to write a letter to a client in response to

this situation: Someone has come to you expressing a number of problems: the person's marriage is a mess, they hate their job, they cannot complete work on time, they feel overwhelmed and cranky much of the time, and even their dog doesn't like them much of the time. While working from the Humanistic (client-centered) perspective, you will need to inform your fictional "client" what you believe the client can do about the problems the client is having. Using Rogerian theory, how might you tell them to set things to right again?

Answer:

After assuming the rol of Carl Rogers I decide to write the following response to this situation:

Someone has come to you expressing a number of problems: the person's marriage is a mess, they hate their job, they cannot complete work on time, they feel overwhelmed and cranky much of the time, and even their dog doesn't like them much of the time. While working from the Humanistic (client-centered) perspective, you will need to inform your fictional "client" what you believe the client can do about the problems the client is having.

Dear "client", it is a pleasure to greet you and have news from you. After analyzing your circumstances I have to tell you something, we are in perfect time to cease all your problems. I suggest you read carefully my instructions so you can start executing the strategy that will provide you calmness and relief. First of all, you need to value one thing about your marriage. Is it worth to fix it? because if you feel it's not there is no reason to keep attached to it if it is not going to make you happy. Second, I think you have reached a point in which you have to explore new horizons and change that job for once and follow your inner motivations, your dreams, your desires, and more importantly your happiness. Remember we are moved by love and if we practice an activity that we love to earn money we are going to find the required fulfillment to achieve auto-realization. Third, I will suggest you start yoga immediately because the meditation exercises will help you reduce the anxiety you feel because of the high levels of stress that are guiding you to a burnout episode. We are in the most important moment of change in your life because we have found everything that makes you unhappy. So, we have to remove it.

Explanation:

There are three reasons for my answer. First of all, Carl Rogers was a humanist psychologist. That believed in auto-realization and the psychology of love. According to his theory and perspective, humans can produce love for them and everyone around them. In our case, we are seeing a very difficult case of burnout, high levels of stress, anxiety, and dissatisfaction that could lead our client to a depression episode. We only need to remove every source of stress and unhappiness from him. Rogers believed that humans achieve auto-realizations after following their "dreams" "drive" "desires" "likes" therefore we need to make our client think about his marriage. Nevertheless, the job is very different because he is not happy. So we need to change his job situation immediately. Also, reduce the stress because the client might choose to save his or her marriage, and that would make him or her go under stressful situations. So we need to reduce the stress as much as we can.

psychology section 1 the validity of a personal test is best indicated a group of students perceived a stationaey point
Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

a.

Explanation:

The validity of a personality test is best indicated by the correlation between test scores and some other relevant measure. This is because, like any other test, the validity of something is determined by whether or not the test actually measures what is is meant to measure correctly. Therefore to determine the validity of the personality test, test scores must be compared alongside another type of measurement regarding personality.

The following data show the number of hours spent watching television for 10 randomly selected freshmen attending a liberal arts
Ksivusya [100]

Answer:

Range = 19-11 = 13

Median = (12+15)/2 = 13.5

Mean = 14.3

IQR = 5

Variance = 8.45

Standard deviation = 2.907

Explanation:

12 17 19 15 12 18 11 15 12 12

Arranging in ascending order

11 12 12 12 12 15 15 17 18 19

Range = 19-11 = 13

Median = (12+15)/2 = 13.5

Q_1=12

Q_3=17

Interquartile range

IQR=Q_3-Q_1\\\Rightarrow IQR=17-12\\\Rightarrow IQR=5

Interquartile range is 5

Mean

\bar{x}=\frac{12+17+19+15+12+18+11+15+12+12}{10}\\\Rightarrow \bar{x}=14.3

v=\frac{1}{N-1}\sum_{i=1}^{N}(x_i-\bar{x})^2\\\Rightarrow v=\frac{1}{9}\times 76.1\\\Rightarrow v=8.45

Variance = 8.45

s=\sqrt v\\\Rightarrow s=\sqrt{8.45}\\\Rightarrow s=2.907

Standard deviation = 2.907
