The answer is The G1 phase, or Gap 1 phase, is the first of four phases of the cell cycle that takes place in Eukaryotic cell division. In this part of interphase, the cell synthesizes mRNA and proteins in preparation for subsequent steps leading to mitosis. G1 phase ends when the cell moves into the S phase of Interphase.

Tell how you should respond if you come upon the scene of a vehicular accident
ddd [48]
Incorporating basic life support, the first thing one should do is survey the scene. Look for any obstacles that will make the response difficult such as shattered glass, fire, etc. Second, call emergency hotline (usually it's 911 but it may differ from other countries). If you are a certified basic life support provider, then continue with the next steps. Next step would be checking the patient's airway, breathing, and circulation (ABC) by checking the if there is blocking the airway, or if the patient can breathe spontaneously, as well as the pulse. Next step would be assess if the patient as a cervical fracture as this should be handled carefully. If the patient is not breathing or has no/decreased pulse then proceed with doing CPR until help arrives.

If you are on the fourth trophic evel, what percentage of energy are you setting from the producers?
elena-s [515]

We know, only 10% of energy transferred from each trophic level. Plant can capture 1% energy from the sun. According 10% law only 10% energy transfer to next level. Thus if plant has 1%- trophic level 2 will have 0.1%; then third trophic level will have 0.01% and we human if we are on fourth level then we will have 0.001%.

Thus correct answer is 0.001%.

Explain how Chromosomes are like a ball of yarn (use the words chromosome, DNA, and gene in your answer)
arlik [135]

Answer:

Chromosomes are like a ball of yarn in the sense that there are multiple components that make up the structure. Genes can be in similitude of the smallest threads in the yarn and when a multitude of genes are put together they make a DNA strand or a long, thick thread of yarn. Lastly, when DNA is twisted together, it becomes bundled together, making a chromosome or a "ball of yarn".
