The most obvious way to reduce the shortage of food is to reduce population which seems like a long term effort however science has enables us to develop certain ways that could be used to reduce the shortage of food. We are familiar with the term genetically modified plants and animals.

This technique has enabled us to produce plants and animals of our choice at a faster rate than normal.

With the help of this we can put desirable traits in organisms.

Why might food scientists improve your favorite breakfast food?
Makovka662 [10]
They might improve it because you eat it everyday. If you eat it everyday, it should be healthy and nutritious. They aren't going to want to make bad food that kids eat everyday, end up putting in something not good or healthy, then getting sued. They are going to make the best quality food.

Select the correct answer from each drop-down menu. Temperate grasslands and are two biomes that are dominated by grass species,
elena-s [515]

Answer:

Temperate grasslands have few trees.

Explanation:

Althogh options are not given for this question, here is what I can speculate based on provided limited information.

Temperate grasslands have few trees and large shrubs (mostly absent). Here, grasses are the main vegetation. A major reason behind this is the low average annual precipitation which doesn't allow bigger plants to survive.

For the second part I can say that temperate grasslands have primary vegetation (grasses) whereas other biomes have higher plants as well.
