n a word processing document answer the following question. How could you use Descartes' Rule and the Fundamental Theorem of Alg

ebra to predict the number of complex roots to a polynomial, as well as find the number of possible positive and negative real roots to a polynomial? Your response must include: A summary of Descartes' Rule and the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra. This must be in your own words. Two examples of the process Provide two polynomials and predict the number of complex roots for each. You must explain how you found the number of complex roots for each. At least 100 words in complete sentences with appropriate grammar and spelling. Provide the source used for information (i.e. the website, the book etc.). Not providing your source may result in an Academic Integrity violation. Your teacher will use the 2.05b Rubric to grade your assignment. Select 2.05b Rubric to view this rubric. <span>I will discuss polynomials. A polynomial can be classified according to the number of expressions that it has in a given equation. A monomial has only one expression having a coefficient (number) and a variable (letter). A binomial has two expressions, same as the definition of the monomial. And a trinomial has three expressions, same as the definition of a monomial. We can determine the degree of a polynomial by looking at the exponents of the given polynomial. If an expression has two variables with different exponents, you can add their exponent to determine their degree.

Answer:

d for the first and c for the second

Step-by-step explanation:

1. both are solid lines so it is or equal to something. the first line is going down by -3 and crosses the y axis at -3 so it is _>_ - 3x-3

the second line is going down at -1/2 and crosses the y axis at 2 so it is       _<_ -1/2x+2

2. The point where the two lines cross is at (2.5, -6.5)

Express the confidence interval (0.036, 0.086) in the form of p-e&lt; p
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

p-e< p < p+e

(0.061 - 0.025) < 0.061 < (0.061 + 0.025)

0.036 < 0.061 < 0.086

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

Confidence interval CI = (a,b) = (0.036, 0.086)

Lower bound a = 0.036

Upper bound b = 0.086

To express in the form;

p-e< p < p+e

Where;

p = mean Proportion

and

e = margin of error

The mean p =( lower bound + higher bound)/2

p = (a+b)/2

Substituting the values;

p = (0.036+0.086)/2

Mean Proportion p = 0.061

The margin of error e = (b-a)/2

Substituting the given values;

e = (0.086-0.036)/2

e = 0.025

Re-writing in the stated form, with p = 0.061 and e = 0.025

p-e< p < p+e

(0.061 - 0.025) < 0.061 < (0.061 + 0.025)

0.036 < 0.061 < 0.086
