Update: The answer was correct I took the test

Answer:

I believe the answer is

Rational negative 4 over 5., 2.5, 0 point 4 bar., square root of 16.

Irrational square root of 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Because -4/5, 2.5, square root of 16 are all rational.

and square root of 2 is irrational, I will say there is a promblem with the answer because of 0 point 4 bar is irrational i believe but it's in the rational spot.

Again I am not sure this answer is totally correct but i will updated the answer when I am done with the test.

Identify the initial value and rate of change for the graph shown. A coordinate plane graph is shown. A line is graphed that pas
egoroff_w [7]
Y int at (0,4).....thru points (4,1)
slope = (1 - 4) / (4 - 0) = -3/4
initial value 4, slope(rate of change) is -3/4 <==
=======================
y = 22,000x + 40,000
=======================
y = 12x + 48
slope(rate of change) = 12
=======================
(1,10)(2,8)
slope = (8-10) / (2-1) = -2/1 = -2

y = mx + b
8 = -2(2) + b
8 = -4 + b
8 + 4 = b
12 = b

slope(rate of change) = -2
initial value = 12
I am not getting any of ur answer choices ...
======================
y = x + 6
initial value = 6

Small boxes contain DVDs, and large boxes contain one gaming machine. Three boxes of gaming machines and a box of DVDs weight 48
miv72 [106K]
DVD weighs 6lbs and game machine weighs 14lbs, so in this case A

in my mind this is what i did...

3(gameMachines) + 5(DVD) = 72lbs
3(gameMachine) + 1 (DVD) = 48lbs

when you subtract, since there is the same number of game machines, they cancel out and your left with
4(DVD) = 24
1 DVD = 6

then just fill in DVD in one of the equations to get the weight of gameMachine
3(gameMachines) + 5(6) = 72lbs
3(gameMachines) = 42
gameMachine = 14
