At the time of the arrest of the high school girl, the Police Officers will decide whether to refer the High School girl to juvenile court or to route these cases out of the justice system. However, which ever decision they have taken the definitely have to follow the under-listed processes:

  • Police officers generally will bring in or the high school girl to the police Department's Juvenile Division;
  • They will question/quiz the girl,
  • They will take her fingerprint,
  • They will book her
  • If necessary, detain her after conducting the necessary investigations.
