Density is calculated by dividing an object’s mass by its volume. Density is less intuitive than mass or volume, but if you have ever picked up an object and found it much lighter or heavier than you expected, that’s because its density is not what you thought. Density usually can’t be measured directly and must be calculated after mass and volume have been determined. Density is sometimes used to describe other quantities divided by volume, such as energy density.

The height of an object t seconds after it is thrown from a height of h feet is modelled by the equation h(t) = -16t^2 + vt + h.
prisoha [69]

Answer:

At 0.713 second the ball will hit the ground

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of an object t seconds after it is thrown from a height of h feet is modeled by the equation:

h(t) = -16t^2 + vt + h

The ball is thrown from a point 6 feet above ground with an initial velocity, v, of 30 feet per second, equation becomes:

h(t) = -16t^2 + 3t + 6

It is required to find the time when the ball hits the ground. At that point, h(t) =0.

So,

-16t^2 + 3t + 6=0

Above is a quadratic equation, the value of time is given by :

t = -0.526 s and t = 0.713 seconds

So, at 0.713 second the ball will hit the ground.

Write the expression in WORDS!

5x + 3
Svet_ta [14]
The expression 5x+3 would be three more than five times a number! More than in this case would be addition - so if you get the same problem with subtraction you just change more to less!
Basically what it's tell you is that if x stood for 2 in this case 5*2 = 10 since it's 3 MORE than 5 times a number (x is in place of a number), you're adding 3 to 10 and that gives you 13!
I hope I simplified it a little more and you understand!
Good luck, rockstar! c: I hope this helped!

How to write a paragraph proof? Given: ∠T and ∠V are right angles TW║VU.
Prove: ΔTUW≅ΔVWU
mafiozo [28]

Note: The missing diagram is attached below for a reference.

Answer:

 • Δ TUW ≅ ΔVWU by AAS case.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

 • ∠T and ∠V are right angles.
 • TW║ VU

To Prove:

 • Δ TUW ≅ ΔVWU

As

∠ T ≅ ∠ V ≅ 90^{0} (Given)

Side UW ≅

TW║ UV

and UW is a transverse

So,

∠ TWU ≅ ∠ WUV \left[alternate\:\:interior\:\:angles\right]

As\:Angle\:=\:Angle\:=\:side\:are\:equal

Thus,

 • Δ TUW ≅ ΔVWU
