Answer:

                      Silver Acetate would be the Limiting Reagent.

Explanation:

                    The balance chemical equation for the given double displacement reaction is as;

                            HCl + AgC₂H₃O₂ → AgCl + HC₂H₃O₂

Step 1: Calculate Moles of Starting Materials:

Moles of HCl:

                      Moles  =  Mass / M.Mass

                      Moles  =  72.9 g / 36.46

                      Moles =  1.99 moles

Moles of AgC₂H₃O₂:

                      Moles  =  150 g / 166.91 g/mol

                      Moles  =  0.898 moles

Step 2: Find out Limiting reagent as:

According to balance chemical equation.

              1 mole of HCl reacts with = 1 mole of AgC₂H₃O₂

So,

         1.99 moles of HCl will react with = X moles of AgC₂H₃O₂

Solving for X,

                     X =  1.99 mol × 1 mol / 1 mol

                     X =  1.99 mol of AgC₂H₃O₂

Hence, to completely consume 1.99 moles of Hydrochloric acid we will require 1.99 moles of Silver Acetate, But, we are provided with only 0.898 moles of Silver Acetate. This means Silver Acetate will consume first in the reaction therefore, it is the LIMITING REAGENT.

Why is one side of the moon called "the dark side of the moon"?
Lisa [10]

Answer:

Option C

Explanation:

The answer is option C or "The amount of time it takes to rotate around it's axis is the same amount of time it takes to revolve around Earth."Remember that the Earth and the Moons amount of time to make a full rotation is almost in sync and they're two sides of the moon, one side we do not see and that's because that side is currently faced away from the Earth which is called the dark side of the moon. Each side has two weeks oh night, and two weeks of day because of how long it takes the moon to revolve, so while we have a side towards the Earth which is illuminated by the sun we have another pointing away in the dark.

Hope this helps.

If there are no chemical controls which can be implemented at your worksite, what can you do to protect yourself?.
Vilka [71]

If there are no chemical controls which can be implemented at your worksite than one should wear recommended PPE for protection .

  • PPE means personal protective equipment .
  • PPE at the worksite is selected to reduce the risk to health and safety .
  • PPE includes aprons , overalls , gloves , footwear face shields , chemical resistant glasses , and respirators .
  • The PPE and administrative control measures depends upon the behavior and supervision of human .
  • The efficacy of PPE depends entirely on the workers following the procedures and instructions appropriately .

2 AgNO3(aq) + CaCl2(aq) -----> 2 AgCl(s) + Ca(NO3)2(aq)
yan [13]

5.732 grams of AgCl is formed when 0.200 L of 0.200 M AGNO3 reacts with an excess of CaCl2.

Explanation:

The balanced equation:

2 AgNO3(aq) + CaCl2(aq) -----> 2 AgCl(s) + Ca(NO3)2(aq)

data given:

volume of AgNO3 = 0.2 L

molarity of AgNO3 = 0.200 M

atomic weight of AgCl= 143.32 gram/mole

from the formula, number of moles can be calculated

Molarity = \frac{number of moles}{volume in litres}

number of moles of AgNO3 = 0.04

From the reaction:

2 moles of AgNO3 reacts to form 2 moles of AgCl

0.04 moles of AgNO3 reacts to form x mole of AgCl

\frac{2}{2} = \frac{x}{0.04}

= 0.04 moles of AgCl is formed

mass of AgCl formed is calculated by multiplying number of moles with atomic mass of AgCl

mass of AgCl = 0.04 x 143.32

                       = 5.732 grams of AgCl is formed.
