Point: "Making divorces easier to obtain will benefit all parties involved. While divorce is never desirable, making the process

faster and easier will lessen the damaging effects of divorce on both the adults and children. This could reduce the incidence of adultery, since marriages could be ended before either spouse wants to enter into a different relationship. So, making divorces easier to obtain is a way to preserve marriage and make the entire process less painful for those involved

Exercise 1 Circle the conjunctions. In the blank write coord. if the conjunction is coordinating. Write corr. if the conjunction
zysi [14]

The given conjunction in this sentence is "so" which is Coordinating conjunction.

What do you mean by conjunctions?

Words called "coordinating conjunctions" are used to link independent sentences, phrases, and words. When connecting words, phrases, or independent clauses, we employ coordinating conjunctions to give each connection the same amount of emphasis. To join the independent clauses in a compound phrase, coordinating conjunctions include words like "for," "however," "and," and "but." Since they reflect the development of ideas, they are comparable to conjunctive adverbs like "for example," "although," or "therefore," though conjunctive adverbs do not. The words or phrases that coordinating conjunctions link are always placed between them. The subordinate clause typically begins with a subordinating conjunction.
