Answer: The optimal order quantity would be 95 approximately.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Mean = 100 cartons

SD= 20 cartons

Cost price per carton = $50.00

Selling price per carton = $70.00

Salvage cost = $20.00

Underage cost = Selling  price - cost price

C_u = 70-50=20

Overall cost = Cost price - Salvage

C_o=50-20=30

So optimality proportion would be

\dfrac{C_u}{C_o+C_u}\\\\=\dfrac{20}{20+30}\\\\=\dfrac{20}{50}\\\\=0.4

At p = 0.4, so z = -0.253

So, it becomes,

q=\mu+z\times \sigma\\\\q=100-0.253\times 20\\\\q=100-5.06\\\\q=94.94

So, the optimal order quantity would be 95 approximately.

Answer: Differentiation vs Integration environment

Link between strategy, structure and culture

Mechanistic vs Organic environment

Explanation:

Differentiation and integration environment

Differentiation looks at how an organization is being divided as regards functional areas and departments while integration looks at how a firm operates at the component level ie inter-deparment. A firm that seeks to survive must find a way to balance the two.

Link between strategy, structure and culture.

Strategy is all about the firm's long term vision and plans and how management hope to actualize them. Structure refers to the way the organization function; its chain of command. Culture refers to the shared values within the organization. The relationship between these three concepts is key.

Mechanistic vs Organic environment

The mechanistic environment is more suitable for a organization that is in a stable environment as it is rigid. An organic environment is more dynamic and will fare better in an unstable environment since it can easily cope with changes.

Assume the market for oranges is perfectly competitive. If the demand for oranges increases, will the market supply additional
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is option B.

Explanation:

The market for oranges is perfectly competitive. An increase in the demand for oranges will cause the demand curve to move to the right. This rightward shift in the demand curve will cause the equilibrium price and quantity to increase.

At higher price, the producers will supply more oranges, because they will earn more profits. The supply of product is positively related to its price. So at higher price of oranges, more quantity will be supplied.
