KiRa [710]

Within the Article VI, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, we can find a clause which is called as the “No Religious Test Clause”. By simple terms, this clause means that no federal office holder or employee can be mandated to stick on to or believe any particular religion or doctrine as a requirement to holding a federal office or a federal government job.

However there are eight states which do required officeholders to adhere even with the passage of this constitution. These states are Texas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Tennessee. This is because these e<span>ight states include language in their constitutions which requires state officeholders to believe in a particular religion or specifically protecting those who do. How are cellular respiration and photosynthesis similar?
nadya68 [22]

The correct answer is letter C.

Explanation: Photosynthesis is performed by activated cells that use chlorophyll, a pigment capable of transforming light energy into chemical energy that can be harnessed directly by living beings, as opposed to light. In this reaction, the atomic groups of carbon dioxide, water and mineral salts, in the presence of light, are transformed into gas and sugar.

The producer within each of his cells (specifically the mitochondria of all cells) uses and transforms glucose (a type of sugar), releasing energy that the cell can use in its activities. This process is known as cellular respiration.
