Probability of all 3  calculators being good = 0.971.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We have , A sample of 3 different calculators is randomly selected from a group containing 17 that are bad and 36 that are good. In order to calculate that all 3 randomly selected calculators are good , let's calculate probability of all 3 being bad and subtracting value by 1. i.e. Probability of all 3 being good = 1 - Probability of all 3 being bad

⇒  Probability of all 3 being bad  = \frac{17}{53}×\frac{17}{53}×\frac{17}{53} =  4193/148877

∴Probability of all 3 being good = 1 - Probability of all 3 being bad

⇒ 1 - \frac{4193}{148877}

⇒\frac{144684}{148877}

∴Probability of all 3  calculators being good = 0.971.

Which equation is a function of x? x = 5 x = y squared 9 x squared = y x squared = y squared 16
natita [175]

The equation which is a function of x is x²=y.

Given an equation that is a function of x.

A function may be a relation between a collection of inputs and a collection of permissible outputs with the property that every input is said to precisely one output.

If we input a value of x then we get the output f(x) = y, which is the function of x.

We are given four options out of which we are to pick the one which may be a function of 'x'.

The first option is x=5 in which no term of y is included and its a constant. So, option 1 is not correct.

The second option is x=y²+9 in which y contains a power 2. So, option 2 is not correct.

The third option is x²=y in which y contains power 1. So, option 3 is correct.

The fourth option is x²=y²+16 in which y contains a power 2. So, option 3 is not correct.

Hence, the equation which is a function of x is x²=y.

jada is using a computer’s random number generator to produce 6 random whole numbers between 1 and 100 so she can use a random s
nikdorinn [45]

Step-by-step explanation:

The random numbers are selected randomly. Just because they happen to be 6 numbers in a row does not mean that they were not. If she is confident in the random number generator, which can be assumed, then the random numbers were still randomly selected and can be used. To regenerate would be a mistake because Jada is then picking and choosing which random numbers are chosen, defeating the purpose of a random number generator

Which of the following expressions are equivalent (equal) to 3(2x - 7)
velikii [3]

Answer:

6x - 21

Step-by-step explanation:

3(2x - 7)

Use the Distribute Property of Multiplication by multiplying the number outside the parenthesis with the numbers inside.

3 × 2x = 6x

3 × -7 = -21

Combine:

6x - 21

Hope this helped.

I need help i will give brainiest question in screenshot
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

ok so first you have to know what a reflectiin along 180 is

) A point P(x,y)P(x,y) is rotated 180180 degrees about the origin, then reflected over the y-axis. What is the resulting image of PP?

My conjecture: (−x,y)(−x,y) but I don't quite agree with it graphically. I'm having trouble with what exactly a 180 degree rotation about the origin simply is.

2) A point P(x,y)P(x,y) is reflected over the y-axis and then rotated 180 degrees about the origin. What is the resulting image?

Is this the same thing as 1?

3) A point A(x,y)A(x,y) is reflected over the line y=xy=x and then reflected over the y-axis. What is the resulting image of A?

My conjecture: (−y,x)(−y,x)

4) A point A(x,y)A(x,y) is reflected over the lines y=−xy=−x and then reflected over the y-axis. What is the resulting image of A?

My conjecture: (y,−x)

ok you need to know what thouse meen

Step-by-step explanation:

)If P(x1,y1)P(x1,y1) is rotated angle ϕϕ about O(a,b)O(a,b) to P′(x′,y′)P′(x′,y′)

we have |OP|=|OP′||OP|=|OP′| and |arctanmOP−arctanmOP'|=ϕ|arctan⁡mOP−arctan⁡mOP'|=ϕ

By atan(z)(z) I imply atan2

(2)If P(x1,y1)P(x1,y1) is reflected over L:ax+by+c=0L:ax+by+c=0 and the resulting image of PP is Q(x2,y2)    (1)Q(x2,y2)    (1)

We have R

Find the value of x<br> 12x<br> 6x+28<br> Your answer
Irina18 [472]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

By looking at the figure, the given "2x" and "6x + 28" are co-interior angle.

So,

2x + 6x + 28 = 180°. ( sum of co-interior angle is 180°)

8x + 28°=180°

8x = 180° - 28°

8x = 152°

x =  \frac{152}{8}

X = 19°
