Let's put the statement into Mathematical form first:
It is: 4x - 2x + 15
= 2x + 15

Here, the difference of two output values would be same, so it will be a Linear Equation

Hope this helps!

Juli2301 [7.4K]
1/3 oranges were spoiled.....u threw away 4 oranges...
1/3 of what = 4....
1/3x = 4
x = 4 * 3
x = 12 oranges

1/4 grapefruits were spoiled....u threw away 7
1/4 of what = 7
1/4x = 7
x = 7 * 4
x = 28

so ur fruit basket contained 12 oranges and 28 grapefruits before u discarded the spoiled ones

How to solve this (b) ???
vladimir1956 [14]

(b). → Simplify: [{5^(x-+1) + 5^x}/{6×5^x}]

= [{5^(x+1+x)}/{6×5^x}]

= [{5^(2x+1)}/{6×5^x}]

= [{5^(2x+1)}/{6×5^x}]

= [{5^(2x+1-x)}/6]

= [{5^(x+1)}/6]Ans.

(c). 4a³b²

= 4(3)³(-2)²

Since, a = 3 and b = -2.

so,

= 4(3*3*3)(-2*-2)

= 4(27)(4)

= 108(4)

= 432Ans.
