The savings is the amount taken off or 32% of 150

32% of 150 is 0.32 times 150=48

savings is $48

or you can do
150/100=x/32
cross multiply to get
x=48

so savings is $48

Write the equation of the line in fully simplified slope-intercept form.
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

y= \frac{5}{6} x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Pick two points: (-6,-10) and (0,4)

Then solve for m (slope): I picked (0,4)

m= \frac{4-(-1)}{0-(-6)} =\frac{5}{6}

Then put in slope intercept form:

4= \frac{5}{6} (0) + b

4=b

Then put in final form:

y= \frac{5}{6} x + 4

Hope this helps!

How do I do this ? I’m having trouble with it on penn foster
Neporo4naja [7]

Option D is correct.

You can tell by observing that triangles ACD and BCD are congruent: they are both right triangles (because CD is perpendicular to AB) with a leg in common (CD) and the other leg congruent (AD = BD because CD bisects AB).

So, they must have the same hypotenuse as well, i.e. AC = BC
