1. Reduce paper and wood use. Paper use can be reduced by recycling paper, and also adding extra tariff to companies who use excessive paper each year. We can adopt a more tech lifestyle, such as email rather than faxing, electronic paper use for schools and businesses, and emailing purchase slips.

2. Plant more trees- In order to  save rain forests and live in a sustainable environment we need to plant trees, substantially and commercially.

3. Opt for re-usable materials such as re-usable shopping bags

4. Education-spreading the word on the deforestation and loss of habitat happening in rain forests  can raise awareness and allow people to make conscious decisions.
